We love supporting venues that are pet-friendly! When we heard about a cafe on Brisbane’s bay side that some fur-parents have even described as “Brisbane’s most dog-friendly” cafe we just had to sniff it out!
Let us tell you about “Frenchies Cafe” situated on Bay Terrace in the heart of beautiful Wynnum, Queensland. Opening their doors in 2014 and as the name same implies, the owners are French Bulldog mad!
Not Just For French Bulldogs!
Arriving mid-morning, already this little cafe was bustling with fur-parents and pooches. Amber and Indy took one look; wide eyed…there were so many dogs of various sizes they could barely contain their excitement. We quickly established though that these doggies were clearly seasoned socialites and on their very best behaviour.

We grabbed one of the only two tables left on the footpath, minutes later our waitress promptly delivered the menu along with a bottle of water and glasses. Then returning with a bowl of fresh water just for Amber and Indy (communal water bowls are also available. However, every dog does receive their very own bowl) and a couple of cute little cookies for them to try!

There was as the usual fare of cafe goodies to choose off the menu, which all sounded delicious. Sadly we were pressed for time, which meant just a coffee for us humans.
We must agree Frenchies Cafe certainly makes you and your pooch feel welcomed and appreciated. Why not check it out for yourself and see if you agree, is it “Brisbane’s most dog-friendly” cafe?
