Stodola based in Warsaw, Poland manufactures decorative laser engraved rolling pins. These super cute pins are made from high quality polish beech wood and cleaned and impregnated with food safe oil. They can be used as a practical utensil for baking or simply a gorgeous piece of art for the kitchen. You could even get creative and make ceramic decorations embossed with beautiful images for the Christmas tree!
There is over 94 images to choose from in the range; Christmas, Classic, Written, Animals, Folk, Geometry, Music, Baby & Dogs! After admiring each design, I was naturally drawn to the dogs and animals range, finally settling on “Beautiful Cat” as the piece I would love in my kitchen!
Quality and Craftmanship
My Verdict: The rolling pin is gorgeous and high quality. The images are sharp and perfectly uniform both in cut and depth. The timber is very smooth and it glides effortlessly. With so many designs to choose from it is easy to find the perfect one and at around $31AUD they are competitively priced to quality rolling pins in speciality department stores.
I think they make a beautiful and unique gift (especially for that person who has everything!) or a special treat just for you.
Baking Hint: I recommend splitting the dough into two batches; as you practice your “technique” of pressure and browning. Practice makes perfect…any excuse for baking more cookies!
